Concert Band

Grades 9-10

This year-long class is the starting point for all freshman woodwind and brass performers. The Hamilton High School Concert Band is a learning and performing group with an emphasis on basic musicianship including technique, musical style, intonation concepts, balance and blend through performance of the appropriate literature. Members of the band gain an opportunity to perform in festivals and concerts many times throughout the school year. No audition is needed for this class, and all ability levels are welcomed and encouraged - even beginners!

All HHS musicians who are looking to develop their musical knowledge, understanding, and skills are welcome to join the band.
